Dr. Randy Wei will be presenting two research posters at American Society for Radiation Oncology Annual Meeting, the largest convention for radiation oncologists.  His first poster was a pilot study investigating the use of Spatial Frequency Domain Imaging (SFDI) to measure blood flow change and hyperpigmentation before, during, and after radiation therapy for breast cancer.  The SFDI technology was developed by Dr. Bruce Tromberg at UC Irvine.  His second poster was a retrospective study of osteopenia in the cervical spines of patients who received radiation therapy for head and neck cancers.
