Linda Chan is a is a board certified cancer specialist in Radiation Oncology.
Originally from Orange County, Dr. Chan did her undergraduate studies at Harvard University double majoring in Biomedical Science and Health Care Policy. She stayed on to obtain her medical doctorate from Harvard Medical School. She also did research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Radiation Oncology, under a NIH Cancer Research Fellowship and Grunebaum Cancer fellowship. Following this she went on to complete her residency program at the University of California – San Francisco, where she also served as Chief Resident.
She has authored multiple scientific publications on breast cancer, prostate cancer, and the molecular markers used to diagnose and track cancer. In addition, she works on several committees of national health care policy, both through the American Society of Radiation Oncologists (ASTRO) and American College of Radiology (ACR).
Dr. Chan retains memberships in numerous oncologic societies.
She is on the medical staff at Orange Coast Memorial, Long Beach Memorial, and Saddleback Memorial Hospitals and is a clinical professor of radiation oncology at the University of California – Irvine.
