Long Beach and Orange Coast Memorial Radiation Oncology Teams Unite to Support Cancer Patients and Survivors
This past weekend, the Memorial Radiation Oncology Medical Group proudly participated in the annual Team Spirit Walk in Long Beach, bringing together our radiation oncology teams from MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center for a special day of community, teamwork, and support.
It was wonderful to see our physicians, therapists, nurses, and staff from both locations come together outside the clinic to support such an important cause.
Walking Together for Our Patients
The Team Spirit Walk is more than just a community event. It is a celebration of strength, hope, and the courage of those facing cancer.
Every day, our radiation oncology teams work closely with patients and their families throughout their cancer journey. Events like the Team Spirit Walk remind us why we do what we do and give us another opportunity to show our support beyond the treatment room.
Two Locations, One Team
One of the highlights of this year’s event was seeing our Long Beach and Orange Coast teams come together.
Although we work at different locations, we share the same mission: to provide exceptional cancer care with compassion, dedication, and a personal touch.
The enthusiasm, energy, and team spirit throughout the event were inspiring. It was a great opportunity to strengthen friendships, build connections between our departments, and celebrate the people who make our radiation oncology programs so special.
